With my camera! I shot this one on Friday, April 11th, in the early evening. I didn't realize what a good shot I had until I checked this morning. I'm still trying for a better close-up of the big guy though - I went over twice today, looking for the redhead, I mean the gator, but no luck! When the gator sensed me near, he jumped into the pond. The reflection is of an office building on Champions Gate Boulevard. The pond sits between the entranceway to the hotel and the boulevard - that's how close he is to society, lol.
One may think that when the redhead sensed me near, she ran. I don't believe it though!!
George Townboy, I mean, Champ Townboy,
Gator Hunter! LOL

That's too close to a gator for me!
Great shot though!
I emailed you...hope you got it!
Carletta: I did, thanks! Glad you like the pic!
Wow! Just amazing photo! Love also the reflection on water! Beautiful!
Sonia: Thank you so much!
You did It: fantastic shot with two amazing residents!
Isnt that the red head runing to the water?
Interesting shot. I like reflections but not with gators lolling about. MB
Gosh you couldn't ask for a better shot with so much happening. The reflections are superb and catching the egret ready to fly off should the gator approach, is awesome. Well done George!
Uma Por Dia: Thank you!! I saw the redhead flying over to Coca's place! LOL
MB: That gator is afraid of Champ Townboy, Gator Hunter ... you're safe with me!! LOL
Janice: Thank you!! If I could only be that lucky when picking the numbers!!
That's a beautiful shot! Dumb me actually thought you had killed on when I read your post title.
That's a beautiful reflections, and some scary gator.
We were just in Florida for vacation last week and I got some gator shots too...although I am NOT going to claim to be gator hunter! No way siree. As a visitor to Florida, I found it fascinating that gators shared the same space with the humans, however I would not want to live there for that reason.
I love reflection and you captured this well.
I came to visit your Sky Watch Friday picture and am so excited with your blog.
Dot: I tricked you, it's acceptable, lol!
Babooshka: Thank you ... he doesn't scare me!! lol
Dottie: Up close and personal!! They only bother you if they're hungry! lol
Andrea: I appreciate that so much!! Thank you!
We once went golfing where there were gators and I was not amused! Had to use what we call gator balls....they think your ball is an egg so you shouldn't look for them near the water or in it......good for you to get such a nice shot, though!
Congratulations! Outstanding reflection!
