Unable to spy any red heads in the area, I lucked out and spotted this Red Tail Hawk that was staying at the Omni on June 14, 2008.

Hello,
These raptors are becoming more and more common in the most unusual places. You've captured this one very nicely!

I didn't know hawks were allowed at the Omni.
Oh yes. that bird is just perfect.
This redhead spies a gorgeous photo when she sees one.
These are awesome!
Great capture of this hawk, with a beautiful blue sky background!
Oh, I can never ever get enough of this hawk... what an incredible specimen... fabulous photos.
Love the second shot! Hope he's got a reservation.

The first shot is very good....and birds..how to catch a good photo before they decide to leave....:))
Claiming his inheritence....
I almost caught a hawk with my camera this week...but you actually did. Congrats!
Stunning photos.

GREAT captures! :)
Wonderful.
The bird looks a little bit shy in the last shot.... ;)
nice shots
Beautiful catch, well done.
How lucky to catch those shots before it flew away - as they usually do!
Wonderful lucked catch!
Wasn´t he squawking like crazy?
You've got a good eye. This hawk looks like part of a finial for the lamps! Good Sky Watch.
Perfect light for photo and hawk :)
He perched there because he wanted to star on SkyWatch! Pretty shots.
That is one of the nicest lamp posts I have ever seen. I wish there were more like it in every city from coast to coast.

I love that last shot.
He really is being good model. Even showing his best side. Lighting is pretty perfect too.
You were lucky to catch him - birds usually don't cooperate with photographers so well!
For Sky Watch over at San Francisco Bay Daily Photo, we have a dance between the moon and the fog at midnight.
How incredible is that?! Wonderful capture. Excellent SWF shot!
I like hawks in fact I like most Raptors. We have plenty out this way. Some come down from Alaska to spent the winter and some are residents. I see them here everyday. MB
great catch
wow! you got there on time to capture the hawk! Beautiful!

Wow! How incredible you caught that hawk just sitting there! :)
Wonderful hawk capture. I am amazed at the places I see them now.
Great catch!
Lovely shots as always. Scrolling down the page, I'd say that every day is a "skywatch" day at Champion's Gate.
Best seat in the house -- great SWF...
Best regards, Don.
Hello Champ,
The second picture is amazing. It's a piece of art! I love so much this combination hawk and lantern.
Looking closely at the picture, I am still wondering how the hawk can stand on this pointy decoration. Not such a comfortable sit! ;-)
Have a great WE!
Hi! This is just perfect. Beautiful photos.
Such elegant taste in accomodations the red tail hawk has! Great shots!
Great catch on top of the light!
Fantastic photos!!!
