Red Tailed Hawk





I spotted this hawk sitting on the lamp post in front of the Omni Hotel this morning. An employee of the hotel came by in a golf cart and referred to it as a Red Tailed Hawk, and it does look like it could be, but honestly, I didn't see a red tail. He/she is beautiful though, no matter what! [Click The Photos For A Bigger View]

Could be. Looks good. Now when the hawks see me they fly away. I guess they don't want their picture taken.

I knew the "rat des champs et rat des villes" (La Pontaine), with your post i must admit that there are also Red tailed hawks in the cities and not only in the country side.
