Random Heron Shots On The Golf Course

1) A Great White Heron, on the fairway of the 10th Hole, looking for his ball, which had accidentally rolled into the pond when he wasn't looking.
2) A Tri-color Heron, Great White Heron, and an Ibis. Fishing. They've had it with golf.
3) A Snowy Egret (on the left) and a Great White, looking for their missing balls.
4) Like Tiger, having won by one master stroke on the 18th Hole, a Tri-color Heron goes wading in the hotel pond after the game.
5) A Great White fishing in the pond near the Champions Gate Club House, after a tough round of golf on a challenging course. Fishing relaxes him.

I just love the Herons---well all the birds I guess. Them big guys are cool though. Very nice pics. MB

These herons are fantastic. They are birds that look closest to the dinosaur birds are supposed to have eveloved from. Making me feel quite lazy posting so many fabulous pics in one post.

The first and fourth are my extreme favourites and borne out by your taglines on both.

Ah, very nice photos! The herons are busy being noticed, aren't they? You are lucky to be able to capture them so often, I have such little luck over here! =D

We're heading to FL in the next week or so, and I can't wait to see the herons that visit my son's apt. complex lake.
