Space Shuttle Launch, Two

I filmed this while standing at the back of the Regions Bank on Champions Gate Boulevard. Champions Gate is approximately 70 miles / 113 kilometers from the Kennedy Space Center.

As I mentioned a couple of days ago, things didn't go exactly as planned when I started taping the launch, but I think it turned out okay, because the very end of this video captures the separation of the Shuttle from the booster rockets. You can see the six second video I shot by clicking here.

Great video! I have always wanted to go to a shuttle launch. My father went to watch a launch one time. Unfortunately, it was the launch that blew up and killed all the astronauts. He was so upset, he said he would never go again.
