Oh wow, that's gorgeous. I've always wanted to go up into a hot air balloon. I've only gone up tethered...and it just isn't the same!

This is the first hot air balloon I've seen this year! They used to fly over my house all the time. But the field they used to launch their balloons is now a well-used soccer field, which is great for the local kids but not so for us sky watchers. ;-)

This is a great angle... and the touchdown was cool too, with that mean looking spike on top of the clocktower you need to be pretty sure of landing in the right spot!
