Searching For Gator

I drove over to the pond in front of the hotel this morning hoping to run into the redhead, I mean find the gator, and look at what showed up instead! A beautiful hawk!

I went back this afternoon, around 5:30 or so, looking for the gator, and one of the hotel employees saw me, so he pointed me to a place where there is always a nine foot gator sunning itself in the afternoon! There he was on the bank, with an egret not far away, and a baby gator also sunning itself on the other bank. I tried to get closer so I could get a good shot but I scared him and he jumped into the pond!

I'm gonna get him! You watch!

George Townboy, I mean, Champ Townboy, Gator Hunter! LOL

Very nicely done!
I have so tried to get a photo of a hawk for weeks all I get are silhouettes in flight - ooh, I'm so envious.
Are you stalking that gator or that redhead? LOL!!

OK what is it--Gator hunter or Redhead hunter---I do believe that Brunettes are so much more fun.
Lotsa birds in the water--will the gator eat them? The people playing gold don't seem too concerned about the alligator. hmmm

Carletta: Thanks! I was amazed, he just flew into the picture (so to speak), landed on that tree, and stayed there while I took about thirty photos from every angle I could!

The, a, many, most ... lol. Just havin' fun!

MB: Pleading the fifth, here! I guess if he can catch one of those birds,it's lunchtime. I don't know what they tell the golfers and guests about the gators, but I've seen three now!! But, when they see me, they run. Now, I'm not sure if that's because I'm Champ Townboy or not, I'll leave that up to the panel to decide! LOL

Jilly: Thank you so much!!

Coca Beauty: LOL ... redheads first!!

Janice: Thank you so much!! I have lost my blogging mind, lol! Tune in tomorrow for the Gator!!
