Egret In The Sky

The Spacious firmament on high,
With all the blue ethereal sky,
And spangled heavens, a shining frame,
Their great Original proclaim. ~ Addison, Ode (1712)

I love the knots in the wood. That is surely a statue and not a real bird up there. It looks so still.

Sandy: Thank you!!

Gerald: Definitely real, lol. I took a total of 19 pictures of him before he got tired and flew off!

That is just beautiful. Ya done good, GT. Are those his long toes hanging over the side? Your colors or as in the bird--noncolors--are so crisp and clean. Love it. MB

You certainly did a good job in capturing this shot. The sharpness is excellent and it works well to have him posed with the sky as background.

Wonderful pictures.
The Egrets are such graceful birds.
A large white heron, the Great Egret is found across much of the world, from southern Canada southward to Argentina, and in Europe.

-Cheers.
