John was just about done and had turned to leave the tee when I got this shot - my favorite of the series. He continues to play the bagpipe as he 'marches' off the tee and down the pathway.
Once again, I have to say, this was an amazing scene for me and I appreciate the opportunity to get these photos. See the two previous posts for more pictures of John McDonald
piping down the sun.

Your bagpiper photo series are amazing!!! These are excellent and should be showcased on posters or cards.. very nice!
Incredible photo, I just love this series of bagpiper photos you have. And I happen to love hearing the bagpipes play. We used to have a friend years ago who came over to the house when we had parties. Don't know what the neighbors thought but we had fun :) To be fair we invited most of the neighbors over anyhow, or forwarned them just in case - fortunately we had a bit more land around us than we do now - don't think we would get away with it in this neighborhood :))
Beautiful picture! I hear the music! Really nice. You can see that you worked to get this shot. well done. :)
I love this one the best as well :D
I don't know which I love more!
I agree with Michele - I nice framed poster with the title Piping Down the Sun.
You need to do it and then send me one. :)
Frame-able. MB
This picture stirs my heart. We had a bagpiper at my Mom's funeral. It was beautiful. We grew up with this music and love it very much.
Another lovely shot!
Very dramatic, beautiful shot! Love it!
