While waiting at the light, I spotted the typical family on this guy's back window. A smiling Dad, Mom, and two kids, and a confused dog.

A thunder storm had just rolled in and dumped some rain on Champions Gate. I spotted lightening in the distance.

Something damaged the sign and lamp post while I was away. More storms were coming, so I decided to head for the Clock Tower to see if I could shoot some lightening.

I shot this on the way, just in case there's a Project Red.

The sky was getting a little darker, but I wasn't fortunate enough to see any more lightening in the area.

The wind was kicking up pretty good, and the rain started again, so I dashed back to my truck.

But I had to shoot this helicopter before I left the Clock Tower.

I felt like I was getting ready to drive through the gate with you!
Nice shots. I especially like the clouds over the palms.
Whoa! that wind did kick up. You're not violent are you? When I first put your post up the only pic was the last one and you said you had to shoot the helicopter. I pictured ka-plow and ka-boom but fortunately you just had your camera. Funny how words are, huh? MB
What a nice bunch of pictures! I really like the red thing tho I'm not so sure what it is. It pays to be prepared!
Gostei!!
Foi giro ter ouvido falar neste episódio e depois ve-lo aqui reflectido e retratado :)
Agora já gosto mais das séries que fiz.
Very good!!
What a storm!!
A comment about the family sticker on that van: I think they're fun, and I'd like to get one that shows me and my two dogs (and husband) for my Mini. However, there are a lot of people out there who think they are awful and dangerous. Sigh.
Sheesh... what icky weather... I was expecting you to get hit by lightning and I'm glad you didn't! Yikes... what a messy ride!
A superb set of photos.
Wow what a story George - I'm puffing just trying to keep up with ya LOL. A neat series of photos of this incoming storm.
